Trivest Announces Promotion Of Russ Wilson To Principal

MIAMI, FL — (January 3, 2008) The Partners of Trivest Partners, L.P.  (“Trivest”), Troy Templeton, Jamie Elias, Chip Vandenberg and Earl Powell, are pleased to announce that Russ Wilson has been promoted to Principal effective January 1, 2008.

Prior to joining Trivest as an associate in 2006, Russ worked with PNC Equity Management and Raymond James Investment Banking.  In aggregate, Russ has eight years of private equity and investment banking experience and has worked on numerous transactions in a variety of industries.  He obtained his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Eckerd College.

Since joining Trivest, Russ has been actively involved in the acquisition, monitoring and sale of the firm’s portfolio of investments, including Twin-Star International, CMX Engineering, Avborne and DirectBuy.  In addition, he was instrumental in creating a flexible database to monitor, track and analyze Trivest’s various deal sourcing techniques.
